So I've posted a couple of videos with him narrating made a couple of brief mentions of his name, but perhaps I haven't quite elucidated why I hold him in such high esteem, and for those who aren't familiar with him or haven't read his work, it might remain quite a mystery. So I scoured youtube, and found the complete set of Carl Sagan's Cosmos television series. Thirteen episodes of science, presented in a form the public can enjoy and understand without diluting the information too much. Sagan was a gifted link between populace and academia.
